My professional journey, redefined!!!!!!!
Explore the career path of a dedicated Human Services professional. Discover a decade of commitment to community health, housing solutions, and advocacy, all driven by a passion for real impact.

Experience and accomplishments
I am a dedicated Human Services professional with over 10 years of experience in housing, community health, HIV services, advocacy, outreach, and program coordination. My approach involves developing skills through real, ongoing projects, combining hands-on IT work, nonprofit operations, and long-form creative projects. This ensures I always think in terms of full systems, real users, and clear outcomes. My career demonstrates clear growth from frontline case management into program coordination, quality assurance, data and documentation, and housing resource leadership. This is supported by a BS in Health and Human Services, IT Essentials education, and multiple current certifications in trauma-informed care, case management, HIV testing, Fair Housing, and housing counseling. I also graduated at the top of my class. This blend of technical curiosity, systems thinking, and human-centered design is what I am most proud of and what I want to be known for.

For hiring managers and recruiters
My goal is to impress hiring managers, program leaders, and recruiters at housing, homelessness, and human services organizations in Chicago, especially places like All Chicago, Chicago House, and similar agencies. I want them to immediately recognize my strong match for roles such as Housing Resource Specialist, Landlord Engagement Coordinator, and Supportive Housing Case Manager, thanks to my extensive landlord engagement, housing placement, and trauma-informed case management experience. After reviewing my resume page, I hope they feel confident enough to invite me to an interview, flag me as a top candidate for current or upcoming housing-related positions, and potentially share my information with other internal hiring managers. A secondary goal is to demonstrate my long-term commitment to ending homelessness in Chicago, positioning me as someone who can grow with their organization and represent their mission in the community.

My strongest skills
My absolute strongest skills include trauma-informed, client-centered case management and crisis intervention for individuals and families experiencing housing instability and HIV-related challenges. I excel at building and maintaining landlord, employer, and community partnerships that expand housing and employment opportunities while adhering to Fair Housing and program guidelines. I am also highly skilled in program coordination, quality assurance, and data/documentation systems, ensuring that files are audit-ready and services consistently meet funder and organizational standards. Finally, I bring strong outreach, advocacy, and cultural competency rooted in years of working with diverse, marginalized communities across Chicago.
"Their dedication to human services is truly inspiring. A professional who consistently exceeds expectations."
